PLEASE HELP TO ACCELERATE BRAIN CANCER RESEARCH
Kirsty was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma in mid-January 2024. She had a brain operation to try and remove as much of the tumour as possible and to get a biopsy to confirm the type of tumour. The treatment for this type of cancer comes with significant side effects and setbacks and she had many. She eventually passed away on 16th February 2025. She was only 64 years old.
This last year has been the most traumatic and horrible time anyone could go through and I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.
All the tested treatments that the best neurosurgeons and oncologists use, are not able to stem the horrific tide of this terrible disease that will ultimately kill almost everyone that is diagnosed with it.
There is just no hope and we all need to change this.
Only targeted research will help us as a human race reduce this horrible cancer.
